How it works

From authorization to status, every step stays visible.

All SNS Publish runs on the creator's own computer and separates preparation, configuration, and final consent so a creator can understand exactly what will be sent through TikTok Direct Post.

Complete workflow

Six visible stages from authorization to status.

  1. Authorize with TikTok

    The app opens TikTok's OAuth 2.0 PKCE authorization page in the creator's browser and requests user.info.basic to display creator context and video.publish for Direct Post. TikTok returns the creator to the callback page; the creator copies that address into the app, which completes the exchange locally.

  2. Confirm TikTok account

    The app requests creator information and displays the avatar, nickname, username, available privacy levels, interaction restrictions, and maximum supported duration.

  3. Choose an original video

    The user points the app at an MP4 or MOV file on their computer, plays it back in the system media player, enters a caption, and verifies that the media belongs to them or is properly licensed.

  4. Set privacy and disclosures

    The user manually selects privacy, decides whether comments, Duet, and Stitch are allowed, identifies commercial content, labels AIGC when applicable, and confirms music rights.

  5. Review before publishing

    A consolidated review presents the account, video, caption, privacy, interaction controls, and all disclosures. A dry run can print exactly what would be sent, and no upload starts until the user confirms.

  6. Publish and read the status

    The app initializes the Direct Post, transfers the media from the creator's computer to TikTok, and checks processing status so the user can see success or an actionable failure.

All choices are made or confirmed by the creator before transfer. The app does not silently reuse another account or publish arbitrary third-party media.
