The installed app requires authorization and explicit consent at every step. This public version exists so visitors can understand the product without installing anything.
01Confirm TikTok account
After TikTok authorization, creator information identifies the destination account and supplies account-specific publishing options.
02Choose an original video
The user points the app at an MP4 or MOV file they own or are authorized to publish, plays it back to check it, and enters a caption.
03Set privacy and disclosures
Privacy has no preselected value in the app. Interaction, commercial content, AIGC, and music-rights decisions are asked one at a time.
04Review before publishing
The final review repeats the account, media, caption, privacy, interactions, and disclosures. Only the user's explicit publish command starts TikTok Direct Post.
